More Omaha- Area Salvation Army Tornado Relief Offered

(Omaha, NE) -- A Salvation Army social services caseworker is with Salvation Army disaster-relief personnel at a "Multi-Agency Resource Center" Thursday and Friday.

The center is on 204th Street., south of Rainwood Road, in the Elkhorn area and will be open from noon to eight p.m. Thursday.

Financial assistance to tornado-impacted families in the form of gift cards will be available.

Salvation Army teams will serve dinner Thursday evening and lunch Friday midday to those seeking assistance at the Center.

They will also offer emotional/spiritual care and counseling.

A Salvation Army food truck will also be present, with crews serving bottled water and snacks.

The Blair Disaster Assistance Center will again be open on the grounds of "Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch," 3935 Highway 133, from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. both Thursday and Friday.
