(Davenport, IA) -- A former Davenport mayor is denying allegations of harassment made by a former city administrator.

Bill Gluba tells the Quad City Times that he never waved a hand in Corri Spiegel's face and said "look here little girl."

Spiegel made the claim in a September letter released this week demanding monetary damages from the city of Davenport.

The 1.6-million dollar settlement agreement made with Spiegel by former city attorney Tom Warner, is the subject of a lawsuit, and state investigation.

Former alderwoman Judith Lee, accused of defamation in Spiegel's letter, says Warner did not have Council's consent, nor full support, to make the deal.
