(Des Moines, IA) -- An internationally known heavy metal band formed in Des Moines will return to headline an event later this year.
Slipknot, founded in Des Moines in 1995, will be headlining Knotfest on September 21st at Water Works Park. The one-night event includes performances by more than a dozen other bands. The concert will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Slipknot's debut album.
